Just as big of a problem is the mindset that law enforcement can arrest and punish our way out of the opiate problem. We've been trying that for over two generations now and the "war on drugs" has been a failure. Everyone in the system makes money off the misery. From lawyers to treatment, the whole lot makes fortunes on the treatment and the problem.

Sadly, this forest guy has ruined a lot of Bloomington. Help should be required to have rehab attached and finding a job so the people who really need it, not wasting resources on career hustlers and criminals! Instead they go with the “housing first model” which when researched is shown not to care about any criminal history! Places like kinser flats and Crawford apartments are terrible for people who are doing the right thing in life! People who think otherwise may have good intentions but the results are horrible with their philosophy on how to fix it. Throw the bad ones in jail when they commit crimes and that would get rid of a lot of them. Help the ones who actually want to live a decent life. I know five or six of them and every one could work, or are career criminals! The ones who could do better aren’t because these people in charge of Crawford just enable them!

If they got thrown in jail for the crimes they committed that would solve most of this problem. It’s amazing that the majority I see are able bodied men who are hustlers! Anything not tied down gets stolen. They built this place called Crawford apartments that has ruined the south side right by the high school. They harass everyone, do drugs right out in the open and the cops baby them. People like Crawford apartments, life designs and Crawford apartments don’t care what their criminal history is. The saddest part is life designs used to be a place for people with autism etc. now they are a place that ruins the community by enabling criminals! The government here is a bunch of political people who are brainwashed or just want to be political and not real!

Hi. Virginia Johnson is my family. I remember when I visited as a child praying over her walls of boxes of papers and crying because her husband wanted to burn them all in the fires he liked to set of leaves. He was a severe pyromaniac. A very spoiled child who grew into a very spoiled adult and made anyone’s lives miserable because he was a very bad narcissist. Also he was threatened by the intellect of all women. He smoked his tobacco pipe and had his own blend made for him of that tobacco living in the only place who would let him live without wearing an ankle bracelet or going to prison - The General who was about to receive the sixth star and shot and killed his own personal aide. That is Virginia Johnson’s home life. The privacy she maintained- living in separate houses as well as keeping house with him - the rotation of her schedules- is how I understand is a marriage. I have not EVER witnessed in 54 years a single marriage living together who are not completely miserable. Contrary to marriages who maintain multiple residences and times apart - absolutely glad to be married with one another. If there is any historical footnote to the fact that Virginia Johnson claimed to be not married to The General- I can be reached for more questions and answers to the best of my abilities. I really was loved by her. I was personally taken by her by plane trips and a coach to her private residence where she meditated a lot. This was a great example in my life. I love Virginia !

Man whenever I see how comics are made I feel sad for the artists. It looks difficult as heck, on top of it you have to face pressure and deadlines, and not earn good money. Feels very unfair, especially because they are giving a lot of enjoyment to the readers. I can't imagine my life without comics, grew up with them and still love reading them.

If you kill it, however, and leave it in the ground, eventually it breaks down and softens and is easier to remove. Or dig around. Better to start with clumping bamboo, that does not spread very much. Genus Fargesia has several cold tolerant species. There are a few others you could try. There are some (few) running bamboo that are happy in pots. Also, 4 ft wide root barrier can be installed around your bamboo patch when you plant it. The roots don't go deep enough to escape below 4 ft. Landscape designers use root barriers for big commercial installations where bamboo is planted as a visual barrier. I lived in IN for 4.5 years. I was hunting mushrooms alongside Stepp Cemetery about 6 years ago and after about 10 minutes of walking and turning over leaves in search of morels the path on which I was taking became crowded with timber rattlesnakes! I began to run and ran a good half mile until finally reaching my car! I immediately started my car and drove off reaching a ranger station up the road. I went in explaining what had happened. The only answer I received was Yes there are timber rattlers in the area! But no answer to why there were so many of them congregated around that cemetery!! There must have been hundreds and I didn't receive one bite but I sure didn't stick around to get bitten either!

Has Dr. Paddlejack been notified about this. perhaps this explains the presence of the giant turtle.
